Make a difference.

By serving at HDC, you can make the church feel like your church, demonstrate your faith through your actions, and invest in those you serve and their oikos.

God has created each of us with different gifts and talents to help prepare others to change their worlds for Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12). Whether you are gifted in music, productions, hospitality, or design (just to name a few), we want to help you discover how God has shaped you to impact the lives of children, students, or adults.

We know God will use you to prepare every generation to change their worlds for Christ (1 Corinthians 15:58). Of course, there are some basic requirements to serve at HDC. To volunteer, we ask for everyone to attend HDC for at least 6 months and attend HDC’s membership class within 6 months. It’s better if you attend the class before you fill out an application so you know what you’re getting into, but we can help you take the next step if you have not attended yet.

Here are 3 simple steps to serving at HDC.

If you want to volunteer in one of our departments, please fill out an application below. Once you submit the application, we should contact you within a week.

Next, we will set up an in-person interview to hear what God has done and is doing in your life. We will discuss why you want to serve and the expectations of the ministry you are interested in.

Once you are approved to serve in a ministry, we will train you to effectively use your gifts to prepare others to change their worlds. The ministry director will then give you the next steps.

Our Small Group leaders help facilitate a safe environment to discuss questions based on the sermon and build authentic and meaningful relationships that point each other to Jesus.
