How to Read, Study, and Understand the Bible

Learning from God’s word, the Bible, is important to growing in our faith. The challenge is sometimes we try to understand and apply His word through our own perspective, feelings, and experiences which often causes us to miss the intended meaning of the passage. In this seminar, we will introduce you to basic principles in Bible study, with the goal to improve your ability to read, interpret, and apply the Bible with more confidence and accuracy. You will learn to actively engage with the text, asking questions, considering different perspectives, and identifying key themes and concepts within the passage. We will also spend time looking at specific passages together, putting into practice some of those principles in real time. Bring a Bible and let’s sharpen our skills in the Word.
