Frequently Asked Questions

What if I miss a night?

 

If you miss a night of study, that’s ok. Your group leader, whether you’re in a step group or in Groundwork, your leader will reach out to you with a weekly email. When you get the weekly email, you can reply and ask to get caught up on what you missed that particular night.

What if I miss multiple nights of study?

We highly recommend that you prioritize Re:Gen and meeting on a weekly basis because we are confident that through this study and in community God will continue to provide healing and faithfulness. We cannot emphasize enough how important communication is, so if you reach out to us and keep close communication, we will be able to help you along your journey.

Will there be food?

We will provide dinner on our Kick off Night on August 27th. We will have organized and structured meals at the beginning and end of each semester.

Will there be worship?

We will have worship the first Tuesday of every month.

What is the group structure like?

Each Tuesday evening, we will start by gathering as a large group for fellowship. Some nights we will have food, while other nights may feature worship. We’ll hear a 15-20 minute message outlining what we’ll cover in our small groups, followed by a live testimony and group prayer before breaking into small groups.

 

 

How will I choose my Re:Gen group?

Based on the obstacle in the way of your closeness to the Lord, you will be placed in a group that will help provide accountability and support.  

Within Re:Gen, there are experienced leaders in particular areas of struggle and areas of success of overcoming. Pornography addiction, anger, mental health and wellness, bittness, alcohol and substance abuse, people pleasing, and fear of man.

When will I get my book?

You will get your book on Week 1. Re:Gen is a 30 week study that has a total of 6 books of study. Once you complete one book, you will move onto the next book. Each book is $15. And you will pay for each book as you progress in Re:Gen.

What if Re:Gen is full?

If Re:Gen is full, we will capture your information and let you know when we will open up registration to start another group.

Is there an age limit for Re:Gen?

 

This curriculum is designed for 18+ years and older.

Can I join Re:Gen at any time?

 

Registration will remain open until we reach a capacity. Our capacity is based on how many leaders we have per group.

If registration is closed for capacity reasons, we will work to raise up leaders in order to have more groups.

What about Griefshare?
Re:Gen will be the structured program for recovery and support for Tuesday evenings and it will include Griefshare, however Griefshare being such a unique and great resource of “Support” will remain the way it always has. This will remain consistent with a few details:
1) Griefshare will always remain open to anyone and everyone who experiences the loss of a loved one and is searching for a resource like Griefshare. Meaning it is not subject to registration or the capacity limitation like those who will be going through Re:gen.
2) The action step for people that need Griefshare is to show up on Tuesday evenings at 630. 
3) Griefshare is still under the umbrella of Recovery and Support at HDC so they will be included in Tuesday night programming however will have their own classroom and curriculum.
